ELEVATOR EMERGENCY
Elevators are one of the safest modes of transportation there is, however, they
occasionally malfunction.
WHAT TO DO IN AN EMERGENCY:
1. Open telephone panel.
2. Press the button located on the red telephone box - when the Central Station
answers:
A. Give the building name.
B. Give the floor level if possible.
C. Give the elevator number that is located inside the elevator telephone door.
3. Remain calm.
4. Talk by speaker telephone with Central Station.
5. Do not try to force open an elevator door.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS:
1. Central Station will secure assistance.
2. Someone will be in touch with you via speakerphone, speaker system, or from
outside the elevator.
3. Passengers will be assisted as soon as possible.
